Collaboration with Nottingham Women's Centre

SBA Project CIC are travelling to Nottingham in September to deliver a two day Unlimited Skills Employability Skills workshop to a group of Women from the area.

The NWC is a centre Run by Women for Women

The Centre provides a supportive space to help all self-identifying women achieve their goals.

The Centre works to help all women in gaining the confidence and skills needed to become stronger and more independent.

They provide a safe and supportive environment in which women can do this, either by: taking part in training and activities, getting support and accessing services, or campaigning and becoming active to bring about change.

They're also one of the oldest women’s centres in the UK and will be turning 50 in 2021!

SBA Project CIC are proud to be helping this organisation deliver training to meet these expectations.

The aim of the workshop is to help people recognise that although they may have been unemployed, they most likely use a set of skills in their everyday lives that employers find valuable:

  • Leadership

  • Initiative

  • Resilience

  • Communication

  • Teamwork

  • Organisation

We want our participants to come away from the workshops feeling:

  • Confident because they can now recognise valuable skills in themselves

  • They are prepared to talk about themselves confidently in job interviews

  • They can answer questions in an interview such as: What are your strengths, what you been part of a team, when have you shown initiative....

They will also learn:

  • How these skills can be transferred in to the workplace

  • How these skills can help them to develop, grown and become a real asset to an organisation

  • It gives a them a better understanding of how their role impacts to the organisations objectives and productivity levels

Roll on September!
